Missleepify asked me to draw Zevran from Dragon Age a while ago and I got around it today because who can resist everyone’s favorite antivan assassin who sucks at lockpicking? But damn it took me 4 hours, that’s far too long for a sketchy portrait o.ORelated content

I have a hard time remembering other characters that got new designs! Or even cameos in other games in the series! Aside from a few companions, that is. It seems like Bioware doesn't like transferring old characters into new content. But gosh, I was a bit disappointed that they didn't change Morrigan's design at all in inquisition! Especially because they designed a beautiful Halamshiral outfit for her

Well, there's Anders (not Origins, but Awakening original) of course. His face got smushed and I really don't like what they did with his story. And there's an Alistair cameo, I believe, and I believe he didn't look very good either, but ah well.
And I feel the same way about Morrigan! Maybe they thought she wouldn't have been as easily recognisable if they changed it..? Haha. But these kind of things do make it so that Origins (+ Awakening) is still my favourite in the series.

Origins and Awakening are my favorite too! And now that you mentioned it, I was a bit disappointed with how they handled Anders' story in da2. Especially because I thought his character was very interesting in awakening. They condensed it all into like one single feature in da2 and made him insanely flat.

I don't have a clue what kind of character I'll play in my next DA playthrough though, hmm.. Maybe it's time for a mage again, since I usually go with a rogue, hehe.

Aaa I always go with the rogue on my first playthrough too! Mage is my second option. I don't think I've ever played a warrior though
And honestly, Mass Effect is awesome for the storyline (imo it's more intricate and better made than that of da). But some of the companions in the first game are a bit meh. Also I think Mass Effect 2 is currently free on Origin! Maybe the other two games from the series will be discounted soon, with the new one coming out.

I've played a warrior once, I believe.. But never again, because it resulted in an Alistair-less team. And I like that guy too much, hehe.
And I'll definitely check it out! I've heard many good things about Mass Effect, just never got round to playing it. I'm definitely hoping for discounts

I love Zev so much too! He's such an interesting, complex character. I wish he had a bigger role in the other games in the series.
