This one was more of an experimental piece than anything lmao. Anyways, context for that last piece of art . Long lore ramblings below

Remember that part in Secret of the Wings where Kaze and Eirwen got transported to Mobius? Yeah. Well I had the thought of "What if Alexander Acorn wasn't terrible?" but also, "What if Kaze never lost his wings, but he wasn't able to get back home either?"

and so this au was born. Alexander Acorn, instead of inflicting trauma on the kids like in canon, actually took them in while they try to find a way back to Cosium. I don't know why Rakar didn't come get them in this au. Don't ask me jfjfdjjkds. So! unfortunately years pass, and Kaze and Eirwen still haven't found a way back home, though they haven't given up hope yet.

Kaze decided to become part of Royal Guard, and the personal bodyguard of Prince Theodore Acorn--whom he and Eirwen have become close friends with. In the greater story of this au, Kaze and Eirwen leave the Acorn Kingdom to travel Mobius and continue their search. And also end up together romantically I guess. They aren't successful, but they've done enough good along the way that they become historical figures/folktales in present day Mobius.

The 2nd part to this au: A Sonic Prime-style plot where different versions of Cosium characters are spat into the "canon" universe. There isn't much plot and was more of a character study/general "You know what would be messed up?" thought experiment. I had this idea of Canon Kaze and Alter Kaze meeting. Both having something the other one yearns for. My thought experiment ended with Alter-Kaze begging Canon!Kaze to cut off/take his wings "if that was the only way I could finally go home".

As always, this was a stream-of-consciousness thing. No plans to seriously develop it, but it's fun to think about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
