I noticed on the Haku one and here again, the aspect ratios in the two views is not the same. The one on the left is stretched vertically relative to the one on the right both times. I imagine it was already that way wherever it was you got the hugging pillow pictures. Incidentally I liked the view from the rear better both times. Not because of any sexual preference, the non-stretched images just looked better to me.

I agree about the rear images, and you are 100% correct about the aspect ratios. It's due to the way the pillow itself is built. It's bent forward (pre-hugged?), which expands the front and compresses the rear of the part making it look like it's 2 different pillows even it's the same one pictured with the one on the right rotated 180 degrees.
If you look at the picture used in her folder, you can see that the picture itself is ok, but when it's squeezed into a much smaller space than it's supposed to be in, things like aspect ratios tend to become much more noticeable. It's basically a natural optical illusion rendered in 3D form.
Her legs in the front view (L) were particularly troublesome to get right, requiring extensive UV remapping to stop the jaggedness of her skirt above her knee from continuing down the front of her leg and foot. The rear view (R) compresses her hips horizontally, but I think that looks more natural, if anything.
Unfortunately, due to every pattern being different, each pillow has to be custom UV remapped to fit everything inside it. =/
Thanks very much for your helpful comment - it's nice to see constructive criticism for a change. ^_^

Thanks for the explanation, I have only seen the pillows in pictures and I have had no practical experience with them. I did think it would be nice to have one
