Description December is usually a very very busy time of a year for me and now finally things has calm down a bit and im full of inspiration again, well thats kind of priceless thats why i dont want to waste any time because tomorrow i can be on some other project again that wont be that excited perhaps as making your own art. So yeah i made a sketch of this quite sometime ago, its nothing new or that original i suppose but i always wanted to paint something such is this, Good vs Evil if you like they didnt show respect for eachother obviously hehehe they showed respect for survival before they walk to the arena of doom and fight till...... i dont know when ? forever ? good vs evil i suppose its equal to maintain the balance so either they fight forever and ever or they just both die, thats up for you to decide.

a bit darker mood this time, it was meant to be a speed paint at first but i got carried away with details as always.

yeah not `So` cartoonish style on this one
made in photoshop CS3 (very cool piece of software to paint) 3 days
original size 8400x4000 pixels

nice, I guess I missed this one funny that you should portrait the light with a woman, but for some reason it seems very suitable. Anyways I'll go check out the rest of the stuff I missed

this is really amazing...

id really wish to know what tools u use to make those sharp details... i call myself experienced with ps3 but i guess i dont have a clue did you use a "painting-board" (xcuse my vocab) - did you make a sketch and used photoshop just to colorize and make it look cool or did you draw it all in photoshop?

around 15 or so, it was going through real fast since it was meant to be as a speed paint at first and the clear image in my head

Wow, the details are mind blowing. The glare between them is frighteningly intense, you can just tell they are going to be locked in an epic battle of sorts. The colours are fantastic, excellent job. ^^

that's a very cool pic indeed.
if i have a little thing to discuss about it would be the eye...a bit....too roundish, but that's all.
the pic is amazing and i like how you rended the different plans (background, foreground, etc).

your welcome mark. Oh i see it was CS3. perfect piece you have Mark. I was inspired by your works. Your such a great artist, more than an artist. I wish you could also post a tutorial here. i know many people are curious on how you did the coloring. Your the greatest for me Mark.

From what I've heard, he tells me he uses PS 5.5, is that still true Mark?

๐Ÿ‘: 0 โฉ: 2

MarkGart In reply to Habjan [2007-12-11 09:21:08 +0000 UTC]

well its true sometimes i still go back to PS 5.5 it simply does nicer color dodge effects, im not sure why but its nicer, but mostly these days i use CS3 only, when you get use to it , much faster and the brushes are great.
