Description Test fitting the pauldrons and breastplate for the first time after putting everything together. It needs some tweaking, and an extra few straps in the back to hold it together, but all in all very pleased so far.

Shame you can't see my crescent blade in the pictures, it's soooooo awesome!

A few more bits and pieces to make and I can put this away till august next year, lol.

This one will be for sale after Gamescom 2014 and EFF Arcen 2014.

They are two seperate pieces, the moon on the hand has straps on it that go around my hand, and the bracer is on my arm

Hi
For the pauldrons and breastplate it all depends on how you made the pieces. I made all of mine on a dressform so they're where they should be, and just joined them together with some pieces of string. In the back it's simply connected by another thin piece of string, and it all just... sits there, more or less. It's very comfortable and lightweight and I can move around easily. As long as it's not visible I just use whatever works. (believe me, you do not want to see the insides of my armors )
As for not being able to paint over spraypaint... You might have used the wrong kind of spraypaint. I always use acrylic, if you use alkyd spraypaint the other paints wont hold on it anymore.
Good luck, and I hope this answers your questions. If you have more, feel free to ask

It's all made from worbla, then smoothed with gesso (and a lot of sanding), spraypainted, highlighted and weathered, and I used some Rub n Buff to make it shinier
