Description
I was inspired by the recent event in which US President Trump declared that he and the US recognized Jerusalem as the legitimate capital of Israel. I'll go out on a limb and say that I've always been supportive of Israel and its cause.The picture: A pair of knights wearing desert kits, tunics and all, ready to fight for their homeland the Jewish State (regarding the Star of David on the tunics). The helmets and the menorah shield are designs that I came up with, I think they came out pretty well.

EDIT: For the Jewish audience out there, Happy Hanukah!
EDIT 2: Alright, I removed the "crusader" part as it was not accurate. I was told that according to history, some Crusaders were responsible for the killing of Jewish citizens in Europe and during the Middle Eastern Crusades. Not what I intended, what I really wanted to portray was the IDF symbolism in the proper form of desert knights.

They are pretty much our equivalent to what the Crusaders are for Christians, holy warriors, the word itself if I remember correctly roughly translated into "Hammer of God".

What's interesting is the armor design including the tunic is almost identical to Crusader garb, though it is not intended for these knights to be actual Crusaders.

I never said the characters in my picture ARE crusaders. I just said they LOOK like crusaders, tunic and everything.
I just think it's a cool design for them, that's all.

At first I was gonna leave just black pits, but I figured that'd be a little creepy.

Probably a little late and it's likely we've all moved on from this...
...but it's true, I didn't know Crusaders indiscriminately killed Jews. But it was not my intention to portray them in such a manner, I just liked the idea of Israeli knights or IDF as desert knights in tunics and stuff.
