On first glance I thought the spiral staircase on the left was brand new and the staircase on the right was rotten, Giving quite a contrast.

I love the spiral staircase in the background. It caught my eye immediately amidst all of the rubble, telling of a majestic past. I bet that the mansion was gorgeous in its prime. Beautiful shot.
