The colour scheme is what caught my eye with your wallpaper. The geometric shapes and straight lines give an impression of "firmness", as if you were standing in front of a wall. The circle (that makes me think of a sun, like the sun in the Japanese flag) behind it softens this very "imposing" composition. I rarely critique abstract artworks because they most often don't inspire anything in me, but yours does.
Does the light come from this "sun", or from above? Are those concrete walls standing in water? This piece creates so many questions in me. A very imaginative and well-thought piece. Congrats. Not sure if it's really original though, but it isn't much of an issue. As long as the piece has an effect on the viewer, you know you've hit the good spot.

This is kind of scary. I wouldn't like to end up in a world like this, with so vast spaces between blocks of windowless concrete. Added to my favourites though.

Seems to be a giant monolith, but then again the structure to its right towers it.

I love the colour tone and the feeling of massive weight the monolith gives. Perhaps try some with hollowed spaces in the large subjects.
