Sometime it is, but shooting pics usually drive your attention away from the feeling to be on a rollercoaster...

The rollercoaster part I don't mind (can't wait for spin training in the biplane) but the fact that the slightest movement of the stick will make big movements of the plane. I'm so used to the dinky little Cessnas that I'd easily overcontrol a stunt aircraft

Wonderful shot! I saw their display at RIAT a few years ago and was extremely impressed! It isn't easy for a team flying light aircraft to stand out when the show also had many of the big jet teams in attendance too but I think they did just that! The display was very graceful and I enjoyed them very much!

Thank you! I was there with them, in 2010. You're right, and we should add another couple of things: wind and weather weren't on our side (I remember perfectly five minutes not exactly pleasant, when we were forced to land on an airport about twenty minutes far from Fairford, due to the strong rain), and the pilots are disabled. Well, two of them; they were three, but in July 2009 one of them died tragically in a flight accident. That is also the meaning of the second number on the fin: it's the "ghost 2", the number of the missing man...
