Description This is my second attempt at making a purse, since my first try turned out a little bit too small for me to use. So I tweaked the pattern a bit and this is the outcome.

It's pretty good sized. Plenty large for my normal use. And you can see some of my stuff, too.

I was planning on using a premade leather strap for this, but couldn't justify spending the money on that. So I tried to make one out of fabric that would be as sturdy as possible. I'm quite pleased with the outcome. There are some major and minor defects in it, most of them from me fighting with my sewing machine, or not thinking stuff through before doing it. I spent as much time pulling stitches out as I did putting this together, I think..

But all in all I'm pretty happy with it.

I love the bag so far! I've gotten lots of complements on it and it's holding up nicely.

Thanks honey. I love it too. The only thing I'd change is that I would have used an extra layer of interface in the strap. It's a little flimsy with only the 2 layers of fabric and one layer of interfacing..
