Yes I'm being unfaithful to Cullen.Solas is a really fascinating and deep character.
I really didn't expect him to be my fav companion at all.
Here's a little sketch I made while I was downloading the game patch. *sigh* (edit : and don't dl it, it's a mess, wait for the hotfix).

Ahhh ... Solas ... broke my lady elfs heart and ... masochistic me was quick to make a second lady elf to play his romance again, because it was so damn beautiful and well written and Solas ... he's just so deep and fasziniting and he's got that presence ...
You did an amazing job on this one. So many people don't get his face correctly, but you did!

I'm not masochistic enough to play a 2nd lady elf but I kept many saves at some points of the story... Main dialogs & Romance cinematics, the Ball, Mythal Temple... And one right at the beginning when we meet him for the first time and hear his chuckle.
He sure is facinating and I hope there will be a Solas DLC.

I'm shocked at how much I love Solas, too. I'm still just romancing Cullen, but I bring Solas with me most everywhere, almost as much as I bring Cole. (Cole is my adopted son!) I'm excited to romance him next time around. He's just freaking gorgeous and I don't even know what!!

I romanced Cullen on my 1st walkthrough.
He's really fine and swoon-worthy but Solas is a complete and pleasant discovery.
I'll try a colored Solas another time.

I ended up liking Solas far more than I expected to. Dang Bioware and their awesome characters.

You and me both! I played my first playthrough I romanced Cullen and enjoyed it but, oh my god, Solas is so fascinating! I already made a lady elf to romance him with, even tho I know what happens *u*
Didn't know the patch came out! I haven't opened up origins or DA:I yet, so I guess I'm holding that off or working around it somehow = A= )a

Solas looks so handsome! QAQ You did such an amazing job on him, I just love his face.. and his expression makes my heart hurt LOL I love this character aughh

The patch isn't working well, particularly on hair textures. It's a shitstorm among players today. I didn't know and downloaded it. :\ I suggest you wait for an hotfix or play offline.

I'm fortunate that I was able to disable auto-update since I had origin open but didnt touch DA:I
I saw there was a fix for it! It worked for someone I follow on tumblr so hopefully it helps everyone else too @_@
