This was originally a page in a 8 pages comic. I am not very satisfied with the comic but I like this image.Pen & ink, washed ink on paper (29,7cm x 42cm).

I like these sort of Innocent-turned-horror themes. These types are the real spine tinglers...
I'd hate to see how her face looks like... must be a disfigured face... or a skull. maybe her face had been clawed out!

I think the reason this catches my attetion is because it's so strange to see something pure in an environment so dark and eerie. It's suggesting that the bride is a part of that world in some sick way.

at first i thought the bride displayed her back to us and confused the veil with her long ...blonde hair

this picture makes me think that it comes from a very interesting comic. I really like this, it's very well done. the background is the kind of place I'd love to be sometimes, and it's very detailed, with a nice lightning effect.
It all is very emotional... if sorrow is the emotion you were going for

The contrast is lovely in this picture; she stands out so perfectly in her elegantly white dress from the dark crumbling background. The art piece in the background looks wonderful as well, that little tear really looks wonderful. The white lights off on the sides also help drag your eye around the picture. Tis a marvalous piece this one is. Can see why you liked it so.

I don't know the comic plot, but i have this sad plot in my head, as if she's a foolish girl who wandered into a graveyard and was somehow forced to be the bride of one of your monsters. This scene is her, just moments before the ceremony...Very nice
