I decided to give myself a bit of a fun challenge and turn characters from some of my favorite fandoms into D&D characters. I'm starting out this challenge with the Sonic The Hedgehog series. Now it's Infinite's turn!

Name: Infinite
Race: Kalashtar (originally Mobian jackal)
Class(es): Warlock
Subclass(es): The Great Old One (Pact of the Blade)
Background: Mercenary Veteran

I decided to make Infinite a warlock for his D&D class. While Infinite was already a skilled fighter before, it's when he gets ahold of the Phantom Ruby when he really becomes a notable threat. Based on the powers of the Phantom Ruby, it very much feels like Infinite made a pact with a Great Old One with the ruby acting as a power source for Infinite that connects him to his patron. It's ability to warp reality and minds just very much seems in tune to the powers of the Great Old Ones and I just couldn't pick anything else that fit so well. For his Pact Boon, there defiantly were some choices. But, in the end, I just had to go with Pact of the Blade. While Infinite doesn't actually use his sword in the game, we do know that Infinite once owned a pretty wicked-looking crimson sword that, at least to me, screams as a warlock's pact weapon. He does appear to be pretty good with a sword already as we see in the comics, so I bet he'd be pretty comfortable using it again as a warlock. For his race in a non-Sonic based game, I think kalashtar would actually work well for him. While I know he didn't have any reality-bending powers before the Phantom Ruby, I do think that the race just goes so well with him and his powers. I think Infinite would make a pretty awesome BBEG or maybe even playable evil character. Let's just hope he's given an actually good backstory that doesn't make him look like a whiny baby throwing a tantrum because he lost a fight...
