Made for the WW2 contestJust like Romeo and Juliet...ok, I'm kidding ^^
Poland and Hungary were on opposite sides of war.
Poland was a member of Allies, Hunagry - Axis.
But who cares?! The real friendship doesn't know such a thing as political classification.

Mała ciekawostka, Żołnierze Węgierscy nie przyłączyli się do Ataku na Polskę we wrześniu 39 i pacyfikacji powstania Warszawskiego W 44.
Kiedy Niemcy poprosili o pomoc w ataku na Polskę to przywódca Węgierski powiedział że prędzej spali swoje pola naftowe niż to uczyni. więc Polak Węgier dwa bratanki do szabelki i do szklanki.

Spoko, ja też nie umiem rysować w programach. Nigdy nie zrobię w nich takiej lini jak ołówkiem po kartce. Kompa używam tylko do kolorowania.

Wiadomo, na kartce rysuje się najlepiej. Nawet nie chodzi o to, że nie umiem, ale ja nawet z takimi programami nie miałam okazji się zetknąć, a jeśli już to okazywały się zbyt zaawansowane technologicznie, a nie mam w zwyczaju czytać instrukcji

nicely done! i've recently learned some of the background behind the Polish-Hungarian friendship, including the situation during WWII, which i found particularly interesting. I found it admirable that, despite being on opposite sides, they would not turn on each other. my favorite example was when Hungary refused to let the Nazis use the rail system to invade Poland, going as far as to threaten to blow up their own lines. This bought Poland precious time to evacuate citizens and try to prepare as best they could. THAT'S loyalty

That's right, this opposition to German demands was an extraordinary act of courage and loyalty.
Hungarian foreign affairs minister - count István Csáky said then:
"Whoever shall cross the Hungarian border without our consent will be considered our enemy (...) If Germans try to do it, it will lead to a disaster. Common sympathy between Polish and Hunagrian nations have with centuries turned into an alliance, alliance that is not written on the paper but very much real and valid".
So true.
Another example:
During the Nazi occupation, on some Polish territories were stationed the Hungarian army soldiers. Germans tried to set and use them against the Poles. Hungarians, showed no hostility, but only manifested their friendship.
Hungarians were also present during the fighting against the polish partisans. They often passed polish guerrilla forces without a single shot, tried to get around without a fight. Hungarians also supplied weapons to the Poles. Many of them have committed desertion increasing guerrilla forces. In those places where Hungarians stationed, Germans did not dared to come. Hungarian soldiers has always stood in defense of the Poles and it was really effective defense.
And what happened with an alliance that was written on the paper? Oh yes, England and France has done a very effective NOTHING to help us during The September Campaign (and many times after that anyway).

another fact i found interesting was that after the Hungarian Revolution of 1956 got put down by the Russians, over 11,196 Poles donated blood specifically for Hungarians within two days, plus they sent 44 tons of medical supplies by air and more by land.
if i were polish or hungarian, i would be proud to be a part of something so special and unique between nations
