Because more Mother 3 or Sufjan references never hurt anyone. :3 Yep, the words on the side are quotes from "Age of Adz" by Sufjan Stevens. Something about the tone of the song really fit the nature of the game's atmosphere and story, especially with the Masked Man's character and his station in the Pigmask forces. I was trying to make this one a tiny bit more dark and surreal than my usual stuff, and while the final picture didn't end up as ominous as I had originally planned it to be, it still definitely has a bit of that vibe in it. :3Mother 3 (c) Shigesato Itoi, Nintendo

Wow, I have never grasped how you are able to stuff so much detail into your art, Peri-chan! *__* Like, some one has to look all around the piece for several minutes to fully inhale the story that you're telling! It's really great.

Aww, thank you so much! I actually wanted to put more elements of his story in, but I ran out of space because I drew this on half of on 8.5x11 piece of paper. >v< He's from this role playing game called Mother 3- possibly one of the best-written video game stories ever!

Ah, yeah! It can be hard to tell somethimes! I often blend too much and then sometimes like shading with a little bit of stippling sometimes, so it definitely borders on looking like that at times.
