Your Grandma would probably like this. It's beautifully drawn. The branch looks almost metallic with the coloring you used. And you perfectly captured what makes cardinals so cute and pretty.
This is my mom's favorite bird too. My relationship with her is strained, but seeing her favorite bird always makes me think of the good times.

How lovely! I really like the sketchyness and blue tint. The red really stands out, I agree with the other review, sometimes no background is okay. He's so plump I wanna squeeze him

Cardinals are such beautiful birds! I was wondering, how many different shades or red/orange did you have to use to make this? Seems like a lot considering it looks really good!

Thanks! Well if i remember right, i only used 4 pencils for the red feathers. I used orange, yellow, and red, then i used purple for shading
