Very cute shot. Good use of the Rule of Thirds.
Some of the colours look a little flat. Part of the reason is because the puppy is just slightly underexposed though. Some tinkering in Photoshop can quickly fix up the colours though.

maybe a couple points adjustment up in brightness and a couple points up as well in contrast to keep the dark parts dark....but even if it were covered in ants and dead pigeons it would still be the cutest baby ever! (or at least in a really really long time
i adore how stocky his little legs are! can you imagine those being what you have to learn to move around on? like walking on floppy tree stumps! i am totally smitten with the droopy face - i wanna squish it all up and talk silly to him

Only criticism I have, is that the puppy itself could be a little bit lighter! Maybe you should play with the levels a little bit? Good shot anyway
