Figured I’d have one more go of it.So far having good success being [volitle] solvent free. I am still learning about oils and wet on wet/Bob Ross style. I wish I could have done a little better getting some more ‘pure’ white areas in there for contrast and ‘pop’. I need to work on making better looking bushes/brushy stuff (no pun intended). I am not unhappy with it. All things come with experience...

Thank you! It was fun and you could do it too! I oil paint solvent free so if that is/was ever a concern to you in not trying oil painting you will be happy to know there are other ways to clean the brush without volatile solvents.
Oil paining really is a lot of fun! Love the look of it, love the feel of it, and love all the ‘effects” that seem to be a lot simpler to do with oils. And it is frighteningly true that if you do it like Bob Ross says, you can’t miss. (I’ve only done four oils and truly they are pretty good for zero actual art training and zero prior experience with oil paint).

This is really, really unique. I love the deep contrast between light and dark, and the subtle purple/pink of the upper foliage. I really like it. I enjoy the rest of your gallery too, it represents a lot of hard work and a lot of improvement over time. It's really fun and rewarding to see that. Keep up the great work.
