Description
This is what happens BEFORE I start the final.Before the lineart or Pen Tool shading, comes planning, rough sketches, refined drawing and color trials.
At this stage it all looks pretty messy. The face will end up looking much more like the drawing on the left compared to the face on the right, which sucks.
Edit: Redrew Goku's face much larger, and shaded it.
Anyway, after a useless upload... I'm finally back! Expect those commissions soon guys, sorry about the wait. This is another one for ~KurtFelton .

Hey dude I've got a question...
Well first things first, you are really amazing in everything, drawing coloring shading!!!
Ok now, my question is what do you use to make the lines look like that, i mean i am more of a pencil artist so when I draw something and want to color it I just color the one I made in pencil using photoshop, what can i do to make the pencil lines look like yours?
Do i use the brush tool on photoshop?

Normally I use the Pen Tool, used mostly in really big final pictures, however in this drawing I only used pencil and black pen, scanned the drawing onto the computer and coloured it using the Brush Tool. The pens are specifically called Pilot Fineliners, and show up on the computer pretty well.

Do you think a thin black marker would do?

Nah, haven't done any of that here, just coloured straight on to the scanned drawing.
And you could give it a shot, I haven't had much experience with markers, but it would need to be pretty thin.

Just show us how to regularly color and then explain where the spots to shading go.

Seems Goku is kinda suffering from Gorilla-Arm Syndrome, they are really thick compared to the rest of him.
I am enjoying the Kai-like coloring though. I wish I could color my crap similar to that, but I always fail. xD
