Next in the series of paintovers for Heroes of the Storm ! I really enjoyed working on Tassadar, I don't do enough Protoss characters.Base model by Phill Gonzales and textures by Ted Park.

Is there such a thing as enough Protoss heroes? (Yeah, I don't think so, but I'm severely biased! )
Seriously, this pic shows off the protoss' hands nicely. I tried for some time to imagine how their double thumbs worked; looking at this, I'm glad to see that my mental image was basically on the right track. Trouble is, between those hands and their digitigrade stance, you folks at Blizzard obviously didn't have protoss cosplay in mind when you created these guys, did you?
I still think that the protoss design aesthetic looks like it was influenced by Italian sports car designers!
Seriously, though, pics like this one are why the protoss are my favorite race of the three. They're just too cool IMHO!

Dark Prelate Tassadar should be a skin of his o-o would fit well with the High Templar Zeratul one thats already in Heroes xD

Real nice, Luke! I have to wonder if you guys over there have a term for the "middle grounding" of all the styles from all the different games. Sort of making a blizzard alpha style for this game so they can all look cohesive. I gotta say, Looking through them in the tech alpha, these are my favorite renditions of these characters. Awesome work by all. Also a really damn fun game!

Thanks, man! I don't know that we have a specific term for it, but that process has definitely been a huge amount of fun - getting everyone from the different IPs to look like they still fit together has been almost my favourite part of the project

I agree, you don't do enough Protoss characters. There's so much awesomeness yearning to come out! I'm all for more Protoss both in Heroes of the Storm and thus in your art!
