it's been awhile since i've done personal art/traditional art as well!i miss painting and i am trying to get back into it, it has been how long now?! xD
here is one of my new lovely ocs! i decided to name her Naoko. this is the front view
and traditional version of her Full Body Commission Sample .
i took so many tries trying to take a picture, edit, add, and alter stuff, and it is still not
fully to my liking. i couldn't capture it that well ;^;
i messed up a few times so it ended up with the weird looking oval around her,
it was originally going to be a rectangle but coloring process was ruined so i changed it.
anyway, enough with my own criticisms,
i enjoyed drawing/coloring her again, need to do more art of her in the future!

lets see, i use the 2 fl oz bottles of acrylic with brand names of 'craft smart' and/or 'apple barrel'.
each little bottle cost about only like some cents to a little over one dollar, too. i've got like this
whole box full of many different colors, but then i also got to mix sometimes depending on
light/dark shades.

yup, definitely know what you mean! took me awhile to find certain coloring
techniques with painting until i found the way i liked it to turn out!
