Love the expressions in this. Hermione is having another little tiff with Ron, given her exasperated expression, Ron is giving her his usual "I don't care" look, and Harry is trying to ignore the both of them.

i love this!! They so weren't the cool kids in the eyes of their schoolmates but definitely were in the readers' eyes I guess
the interaction in this pic is fantastic, so casual and natural and in character, omg harry has to carry ron's bag. Hermione's hair is beautiful, and I like the slightly short sleeves of Ron's jumper, I just love the details!

Yes, I agree, Ron seems to be that unnecesary companion that nobody likes, but he's still kinda there so uh... if you must I feel like many people forget how great was Harry and Ron's frienship in the books, and Harry wasn't that close with Hermione as he was with Ron. Films changed it showing that Ron didn't care much about what Harry thought, focusing more on himself, being jealous about Harry. And Hermione was always there for Harry, always helpful and understanding, never criticising, never awkward. She and Harry were always the brave ones, Ron - a coward with inferiority complex, stuffed with tons of food But in the books they complemented each other, they were all great with all their flaws and virtues. It was annoying they butchered their characters in the films.

One of the worst things about the movies was how they portrayed Harry and Ron's friendship. They didn't seem close at all! This picture really captures their true friendship in the books.
