I love Sauron's smile. The fact he's looking at the viewer suggest he wants us in on it, or he knows we can't stop him from being a troll and telling the king pervy jokes.

WOW! I love this! This is sooo awesome. You have perfectly captured these two characters, especially Sauron's sneakiness. Well done!

When I saw the thumbnail, I thought this was your version of Grima and a younger Theoden. Same idea, different age, huh? I love your artwork. The detail is wonderful and the adore the coloring!

Sauron, paving the way for horrid people like Grima since the Second Age...
The only nitpick i have is that their hands look a little too small for their heads. But i really like the poses, & Sauron's scheming look. And also the connection to Aragorn through Ar-Pharazon's looks.

The Akallabêth is just plain awesome in written form. Of course, I may be biased. But yeah, one of my favourite parts of the Silmarillion, along with - as you said - Beren and Luthien, and the tale of poor Túrin.
... man, that whole book's depressing now that I think about it.

It is isn't it! But truly majestic. I like Turin's story too but it is a more enjoyable read in The Children of Hurin. It's more of a narrative there and has better details seeing as the whole book is dedicated to a story that had just a small section in The Silmarillion.

This is gorgeous. I love their faces... and the colors are quite charming too. You convey so much in a fairly simple picture... great work.
