Beach in Vancouver, Canada near the University of British Columbia. I love how the temperate rainforest just descends right onto the beach. And the fact that this was a 5-10 minute walk from the university buildings. I was there to attend a linguistics conference and give a talk there and going to this beach during my time off was absolutely the best thing ever. Ok, maybe, the second best thing, after my idea to annex my honeymoon to this conference 
I miss Canada
