Trespasser set up what could be a magnificent story with Solas, but BioWare has lost my trust as a developer--especially after Laidlaw's departure. I'm adopting a "wait and see" attitude for now.

I want to believe. For all DA:I's problems, the DLC showed me the devs could do better (if all the base game regions had been as rich as Jaws of Haakon...), and Trespasser set up the perfect plot (the Dread Wolf could easily be BioWare's best villain, even better than Saren or TIM). I'm willing to put hard feelings over ME:A aside (most of the team wasn't BioWare after all), but Laidlaw's leaving concerns me a lot.

There are some theories going around about those half circles.
Some are saying they refer to the seven old gods, another that the dragons that become archdemons are the bodies of the trapped elven gods who are trapped in the fade as they sleep.
Another it that they refer to the magisters. The two lit up ones being Cory-fish and the Architec.

I'm definitely hyped for this at the moment. I've wanted closure to the Trespasser DLC story ever since playing it for the first time, and Solas has always been a favourite character of mine. As long as they don't announce this as a stupid mobile game or something equally underwhelming, which actually wouldn't surprise me with all the other game issues this year, I'll be all over it!

Me too! At first Solas is one of those characters that annoyed me because he and my original Inquisitor argued a lot, but when I played a second time with a character I was determined to befriend him with, he turned out to be a much more likable and interesting character, and the Trespasser DLC made him even better! I hope they give a good conclusion to the story.
