Yes, I DO have an artblock. ;____;I've started this drawing about three months ago, and decided to finish it only three weeks ago. Because of my current state of mind about drawing these times, I'm not very satisfied. Lots of mistakes and a lack of contrast (plus the fact that the scanner made the drawing looking flat), but well, it's been such a long time I haven't posted something finished...
I took my time to finish it, but I actually feel like I have no inspiration.
About the character now :
He's Kelen, the Champion chosen by the God of Justice. Actually he's having doubts on his faith, but he's still fighting his enemies, in the real world and in his mind. I quite love this character, despite the fact he's doubting he stills follows the path he has chosen, and tries to respect his principles in everything he does. In the first version I've made of him, he was supposed to have wings, but I finally abandoned that concept for something more "human"-looking.

Ouais je l'ai fini et j'en ai bavé ! un vrai travail de fourni ! (enfin je suis surtout allée à 2 à l'h pour les raisons que j'ai exprimées sur mon blog)
Bah le background je voyais plus grand à la base, genre une nef de cathédrale ou je ne sais quoi, avec des effets de lumière de la mort qui tue, mais j'ai fini par laisser tomber par flemme

i am all fidgety, but i must find some time first. at least i´ll take my sketchpad with me this summer holidays. we live in a cabin there without any internet and even without proper shower with nothing around. and no comp, so i will be forced to do traditional stuff.

The detail you put in your work is astounding. The way you render clothing and... just everything is amazing. 
The only thing is... I know the angle of the piece is intentional, but to view it properly, I had to stare at the screen at an odd angle and it was hard for me to see everything. |D Perhaps it's just me, though. I cannot read upside down. ._." You pulled the angle off marvelously, though. Very nice job!

A few people told me they had to look at the piece at a strange angle. Maybe I could fix that ; any of your advice is welcome. The fact is that the picture would have been more static, I think, if I had drawn it in a traditional view angle.
This isn't Neszhäar, but another elf. His name's Kelen and he's a fervent servant of the God of Justice. By the way, even is he knows something about Neszhäar's existence, they have never met each other.

I must agree with you; I think if you changed the angle to a 'normal' angle, it would change the feeling of the piece. But that's just me. Once I got over the head-tilting, I really liked it. :3

I don't know if they will meet each other. I've a rather big inspiration block now, and I haven't been wrinting any text for months, but it would be interesting to see how these two characters, that have in common the fact that they have a strong faith, would react.

j'adore la perspective, les ombres, les nuances ... tout quoi. Il y a une bonne dynamique dans ce dessin.
Par contre le fait qu'il soit penché ... ça me fait pencher la tête

La dynamique est due au fait que l'image soit penchée aussi... XD si c'était droit je pense que l'effet ne serait pas le même. (puis je trouvais ça fun de faire une image penchée comme ça, e nfait ça faisait un certain temps que j'essayais)
