SSSSSSOOOOOOOO GORGEOUS!!!!!! If it was for sale I would definitely buy it. I'm trying to get into jewelry making, but I feel it will be awhile until I'm this good. Any good techniques you wanna share?? lol

Thank you so much!
I'd say the best thing to do would be just looking around on DA, browsing tutorials and looking at techniques from other jewelers. If we're talking about this technique then , and are certainly good artists to look at. They're very very good at it.

Very cool! I have never seen one of these done with a shell before, I really like it!

Thank you! I just have a tendancy to make art out of everything I find pretty, and I like to believe it leads to something original once in a while.

The only thing that would make this more perfect would be a splash of beach glass. Lovely job wrapping an unusual shape.

Great wrapping job with the shell! I'd like to do the same myself one day, at least now I know it can be done!

Thank you! Of course it can be done! I'll let you in on a little secret in case you're going to wrap a shell like this: it has a twisted wire on the inside for extra support. You don't see it, but without it this wouldn't be a strong and durable pendant.

Ohhhh does it? Did you have to use any tools or is it just tucked inside and then twisted tight?

Yes, I just twisted it so that you could sort of screw it into the shell, so that it would come out at the top, and so that you don't see it. In order to make this pendant all the tools you'll need are your pliers and wire cutters. And some patience and creativity maybe.

When you just keep playing around with the wire you'll always find something that works at some point.
