Some More 'ScapesThe scenery in KwaZulu Natal can be breathtaking and a photographer's paradise. I have already featured some of the landscapes and seascapes from my recent vacation to KZN, Some 'Scapes, and here are some more.
Sunset, Lake Sibaya: Sunsets can give spectacular light especially when there is water to reflect the dying rays of the Sun. In this shot of Lake Sibaya near the Thonga Beach Resort on the coast of the Indian Ocean, the light is reflected not only from the lake surface, but also from the fronds of small reeds lining the shore. I noticed this effect and though it would be easy to capture, but not so. This is the only shot of about 20 that really captures a fleeting moment when the reeds reflect the light.
