I recently started going on tumblr a lot and found out about the tumblr ThisCouldHaveBeenFrozen. After reading about the lanterns I realized, that's what we need. Chinese rapunzel. I wrote a little story about her too (She's not quite a racebent Tangled; her story is different of course) that I will put on my tumblr.Fun fact: her dress and colors are based off this Chinese-style art in my grandparents bathroom of a girl dancing- it's one of those shell-type 3-d hangings and I'm not sure what they're called (anyone know the actual name?).
I originally tried to based the style off the end credits (<3) of Tangled, but sorto f failed.

A nice idea! I read the fairytale last year and.. she was 12 and got married and had twins o.o I was surprised, but .. not that much given all the other ones.. there was creepier stuff in there XD

Yeah, there are a lot of different rapunzels. My favorite I think is where her lover falls from the tower and goes blind and her tears heal him XD

That's the one I know. I've been researching fairytales lately in as original format as possible, is all... Quite a lot of them have bits I 'don't remember' from reading them as a child X3 There were some I'd never heard and for good reason o.o

Yeah, I've heard a few.... different.... versions of Snow White. Not very friendly ones with the dwarves and all...
Though I might add in the original story a kiss didn't wake her up- they moved her body and the apple fell out of her mouth, which is a bit better.

Oh yes, I read some of those too... I liked the one with the troll step-mother. It was like 'I might be a NICE step mother... but I'm not, trololol now go gather strawberries in the snow in this paper dress'
