Description
This is an image that came to my while watching Soul Eater. One of the opening themes contains the words "black paper moon" and that got me thinking about a Sailor Moon - Soul Eater mash up.So this is what came out.
I will be selling prints and such of it at Aikon in Winnipeg this year. Come see me!

If you wanted to to a homage to the music video, you could have drawn her as Dorothy, but I think I like this one muchly ^o^

Honestly I drew this simply because of the song. The title put the image in my head and it wouldn't let go of me until I drew it. I don't think I have ever seen the music video. I am glad you like the image. I love the song too. Every once in a while I will wake up with it stuck in my head.

she looks a bit more like Usagi to me, but she could be a fusion too, I guess.

It's Usagi dressed in a fuku designed after what Maka wears with a scythe similar to the one Maka uses.

LOL. You know Hotaru as Chrona might work. Though I don't want to match each character up with a character that corresponds too much. I'd like the mashups to take more thought then that. Though honestly for this I just wanted to draw moon with a scythe and in a plaid skirt...

Well that and sometimes the personalities won't match no matter what combination you try. Though it is nice to do mashups on outfit only or one single aspect of each character and then when you are done sometimes you find you see each character just a bit differently.
