Ahhhhh I'm so pleased with how this one turned out ;w;
It's another thing I can't try with commissions. Some contrasting shadows and light. I attempted this before, but it didn't turn out as well as this.
Anyways I wanted to draw this guy for a while. An European Hamster. Or Eurasian hamster, common hamster, black-bellied hamster, feldhamster (Cricetus cricetus). They are wild, and much, much bigger than pet hamsters. They are pretty aggressive too, despite the adorable face. And they have really pretty fur :3

awwwww SO hamsome!! I love Feldhamsters, actually once picked up one female lying on the road where I live, she must've been little bit hit by a car and in shock-she crawled up on my shoulder and was sleeping there awwww, I called our local wild animals shelter and they took her in-she spent the winter there and they released her back into open in spring.

I feel that you should've made the red berries a little bit stronger for a contrast with green.

I love that hamster <3 In France they're protected because the population dangerously decrease. Associations protect them and try to reintroduce some individual in the wild. Their little French name is "Grand Hamster d'Alsace / Great Hamster of Alsace" because we only find them there. Their environment is so small...

Oh! I do hear they are endangered in some parts of Europe, but their general population is stable. I hope that repopulation effort with succeed though.
