This picture you've done of Sparkster in his newer style does look very nice and cool, and I still enjoy playing "Rocket Knight Adventures" on the Sega Genesis every now and then as well.

I like this update! It keeps the character's significant traits while giving him more detail. But I must say, I wish the in-game model was closer to the drawing. The 2D art of the redesign is great, but his in-game model is hideous. Doesn't do the drawings (like this one) any justice.

Hi Gregzilla. I am glad you like my redesign. I guess its always harder to replicate toon style characters in 3d, especially when they have to be so small and low poly.

The guy that did the art for Rocket Knight is on dA!! XD I LOVE your redesign of Sparkster. There's so much personality here. I did initially say, "Aww, no hair?" I was one of those kids that would let him sit around on the screen for a bit so he'd take the helmet off in the first game, LOL. But you know what? He looks great. Kudos on taking my favorite video game character ever and making him even more awesome than he already was.

let me just say that, while I pefer the "non-helmet, bishie hair" Sparkster, your Sparkster looks pretty sweet regardless of the fact . . . well . . . he has a helmet again. xP

I know... so many people seem to like the bushy hair thing on the RK2 Sparkster. To me it seemed a little too 90's... so I lost it!

well, the 90s WERE the times to be in video games. Not to mention, bishie haired animals were a bit unheard of at the time (but eventually got abused so badly in later years). xP
but like I said, you didn't get too radical on Sparkster's design and it still looks awesome. ^_^

Loved the original Rocket Knight game and really like how this is a throw back to the original Sparkster.
Wish Konami would make an iPhone port of this new game.

This design is great, closer to the original game design but still i like the "Sparkster: rocket knight adventure 2" design better ( i love seeing his hair i guess)

I love this new take on Sparkster, I'm a big fan of the 3 original games!
I only downloaded the demo for now, I still wish they could make a disc-release, perhaps on the Wii? (or another Konami compilation?)

That way I could have it in my collection, next to the previous three games (me and all the other Sparkster fans!)

A true blast from the past from the first 2 games on the Genesis.
I'm hoping Konami/Climax does another game, or mybe a remake of the Original Rocket Knight Adventures done i the style of the DLC

I always loved the new sparkster look, it must be fun in bringing out his character emotions with this armour.
The game it self is the best 2.5D game I've ever played and I'm not just saying that cause of my username, RK is an amazeing game.
