I used a thicker pen to trace the outline. I have several, but one in particular I use more of.

Various gel pens, actually. Some like my pencils, others hate them, so have to go to another at times. For the thicker lines, though, been using my 08 Fine Line Marker of my Prismacolor Premier's set I got in Louisiana.

really? I always do traditional art along with digital art, i dont let people decide what tools to use for me, i use tools based on my budget and what i prefer to use and like best.


i have premier liner pens too, i like using them better than sakura microns because they don't smear. With sakura micron pens, they smear a lot and fade too easily when i erase. -.-

I meant that the pen hates the pencil sometimes. But yeah, some have suggested other ways I should do my work, but I don't listen often. I draw the pictures traditionally and then I scan and color digitally.

I THINK I have one Sakura Micron that *sakky-attack sent me and it works fairly well. Doesn't smear for me (unless a kitty is in the vicinity and their hair gets on them when inking -_-). Erasing, I noticed it fades, too... D:

Oh i am sorry, i missed understood you. I do the same thing, traditional, then scan and color digitally. Sometimes i try to make stuff on the computer but I fail at it so it's easier to just use the computer for coloring.

yeah thats the main thing that I hate about sakura microns...smearing/fading. They're pretty..bleh for that.

Same. I try to use my tablet to draw and it sucks ._. So, I stick to drawing then scan. Now and then digitally trace my own pic using GIMPs path tool.

oh god i never use the tablet to draw lol! I used it only like maybe twice, and that was a long time ago. Never used it for drawing again, easier to use for just coloring lmao. I sometimes get jealous on people who can draw real well with the tablet.

I get jealous, too. Usually I just color with it. Kind of got annoyed with tracing my whole pic so if I use the path tool to trace something, I do it for a background.
