I couldn't resist the chance to draw Spock with spiky hair and tattoos. This is from the story I'm working on Star Trek: Treason where at one point Spock tries to blend in with Romulan society.
Since I am feeling lazy I decided to do this in more of a comic book style rather than a true digital painting.
And before you ask, yeah, I used a pic of Sylar for my ref on this. Tried to give him a bit more of a worried expression rather than Sylar's evil on though.

It would have been so much better had Roddenberry in the beginning made Mr. Spock Half Human and Half Martian (Martian since Mars is actually the father Romulus and Remus not Vulcan in Roman Myth and Mars rules Iron and Venus not Vulcan rules Copper and also Venus and Vulcan are married) with both these species having iron based blood. Iron and copper aren't compatible so if Spock's father had copper based blood then Spock would have to have a mother with the same copper based blood. If you think about it Spock's brother Sybok would have been a better character for a first officer on the Enterprise and he used his emotions which is what Roddeberry originally wanted Spock to be...Emotional not Logical. If I had to make an alien race based on Logic I would name it after Mars' rival...Minerva. So in my book Spock and Sybok would have been red blooded Martians. Anyway nice picture the tattoo makes it look sinister.

yeah, don't even get me started about green copper blood (which should be blue), or the fact that with internal anatomy/physiology so different that Spock should never have been even concived (cause Spock makes no scientific sense). As for Mars, the only problem there is that there is already a Mars and it's not so far away....

OMG awesome. The styling of this is rather fitting. although it'd look cool digitally painted as well. I love tattoos in general so you add that with Spock and that is one lethal combo. He still looks like himself, just a bit more badass. awesome job. <3

i love it man! he looks really awesome here, so badass and i love the tat~ one slight critique; your picture would look a lot better if you took away that line near his nose to indicate the cheek; it makes him look chubby.
i do, however, think it's gorgeous~
