I think that's how the opening for some episodes started? "We last left our heroes off..." etc, etc.I know, I am a fibber and a liar. I promised to keep posting stuff on here but I've been posting unfinished stuff on Instagram just because it seems more informal. This was a quick piece done for PokΓ©mon's 20th anniversary.
Because Ash Ketchum + K-pop boy with a cool pet can't be beat?

Wow, this is awesome! I love the look of pikachu. You're so amazingly good at capturing the essence of a pokemon while still completely altering and transferring their bodies into that of a real animal. Keep up the great work

I always have reference pictures of animals to look at -but I always have a picture of the original Nintendo animation so that I can isolate the key elements that make that particular pokemon recognizable.
No reference for this one though xD I know what pikachu looks like
