It's supposed to be a valentines pic, but unfortunately I didn't have a scanner then
It's even got a little bg stiory: the girl's waiting fior her date, unnoticeably, calmly, while the bg depicts how giddy she's feeling inside. Dedicated to , whose constantly-getting-more-awesome artwork inspired me to draw something insanely colourful and with a background.
And again, I really really don't like my new scanner TT I couldn't even cut off the white borders

Constantly-getting-more-awesome should be a real English term.
This is a cute picture and I like the concept though. I think you did fairly well with it.
You ought to download a copy of the GIMP so you can do a little editing on your pictures. It's like Photoshop but it's free. If you wanted to get rid of the white border, you'd just select the area you wanted and then select "image>crop to selection" from the menu. You can also mess with color levels a bit for the times when the scanner eats them.
