One wouldn't expect to find this waterfall right in the middle of town. But that's what you encounter in Bad Gastein in Austria. The river is called Gasteiner Ache, and we did an excursion there in connection with our river alphabet project. This waterfall forms part of a cascade of rapids and waterfalls, mostly within town, with a total height of 340 meters.
