Being that Louis is a pirate and french his clothing would change only slightly I think. He may come out looking more or similar to his sister. James...I don't think they had female officers back then in the royal navy. Regardless it's hard to say what James would look like. But I do love the idea of a gender-bender, would be quite interesting to say the least.

This is probably old and this comment has probably already been made, but, high heels were originally used by MALE aristocrats, them being a female thing is only a later century thing, so, technically, ALL his clothes are masculine! (I sense I spelt something wrong somewhere there...)

I love the fact that even though they mime each other's gestures James is as masculine and always, whereas Louis shows James'decided movements with the same grace he always has <3 Pity they didn't switch their shoes *giggle*

Actually, heels were common to men at the time, too. It wasn't until around the Revolutionary times that men figured out they were too damn impractical (not to mention too synonymous with the aristocracy they were busy butchering) and passed them onto their wives.

He has struggles the same as everyone else, the only difference is that he prefers not to dwell on it, and likes to enjoy life. But Louis sans makeup is something I'm saving for the graphic novel. As well as when he's not feeling himself, scenes involving waking up/going to bed/behind the scenes etc. have him without makeup simply because he hasn't had time yet to put it on.
