Been thinking a lot about the metal clad bounty huntress lately and decided it's time for some fan art. Pretty happy with how she's turning out so far, working on the other half which will be a wave of enemies climbing up after her but thought i'd throw it out there for critiques before i sit down and start to color her. Planning on really pushing my skills with this one, see just how crazy i can get in Illustrator, so hopfully i'll end up with a pretty sweet piece of Samus art, maybe something i can print and stick up on my wall
. But if you happen to see any flaws, i'm sure there in there, please point them out, i'd appreciate it very much. And while i'm on the topic, go check out MetroidMetal.com, they've been my musical entertainment while envisioning much of my work. i love how the blast, the flames from her jetpack, and how her armor came out..... she looks even more cooler!

wow great job with the blast, it looks really good.
if you want really picky, the spike on her right knee seems a good bit bigger than the other one. maybe that's just the angle.

Thank you and drawing comes with pleanty of time and practice, i don't draw nearly as much as i should but get sketching and in no time you're skills will be passing mine up.

Very nice piece once again Rebel-Penguin. I only have one thing I'd maybe suggest changing. Where her thigh meets the knee on the left leg, I think the thigh should be widened just a tad bit. It just looks like a tight squeeze there for her leg, heh. I really love the blast, and can't wait to see the rest of this one.

Ooo, Illustrator. I've seen some pretty crazy-cool stuff come out of this program and I'm sure you can do it justice. The position of the left arm looks like it's bracing the right arm like it's injured or something. I don't know if that was the intention but if it wasn't, I would suggest you move the left hand down a bit more so it's maybe touching the elbow/gun region. I think if you do this, it will look more like she's bracing her arm from the blast of her laser gun. If this was not your intention then um... great pic.

I actually tried that and could not for the life of me get it to look right, always came out looking like her arm was streched or something so i moved it up and well there it is. I do agree she does look injured or something but i think unless i fix that arm it'll just stay that way. Thanks for the comment, very much appreciated.

I can't really see any negatives in it, maybe that's just how I work but I really love the action and the pose. The energy blast is a nice touch too
