Hmm...it looks like you use hotpress paper [ i might be wrong of course ], and this sort of paper doesn't tolerate layering too well...

I use....hmmmm...I'm not sure. I think I use cold press? I used to be picky, back in high school when we had the choices right in front of us.
I've gotten lazy with age. I feel I've earned it.

That's awesome. We get birds up where we live all the time. My mom's an avid photographer, and her favorites are the red wing blackbirds, but she gets a lot of chickadees when they come eat the berries on our crabapple tree, which is beautiful when it blooms. How do you catch a pose from a bird?

This was based off of a photo (ha!)
We'd get a ton of chickadees up in minnesota w/ my mom. She'd put up bird feeders by the windows so the cats had something to look at in the winter.
