Description
Iplay "Flight Rising" a while now and Ariadne is one of my favourite dragons! ( Skydancers ftw! )So I decided to make her an epic illustration, I just adore her color combination.
The crow is Atlacoya, Ariadne's familiar which is a Death Seeker.

I LOVE the composition. The perspective is very dynamic and the colors and beautiful.
What I like the most is that it has beautiful detail but there are also parts for the eye to rest.

Gosh this feels like something out of Edgar Allan Poe. (Take it as a compliment. >3<)
I really love the light blue and bright/shiny purple complimenting the darker colors. Makes the dragon stand out more than being melded within the shadows. The way this is done, I can easily seeing this coming from a fantasy book for children, which is very good. Very engaging.
