Personally I'm not against AI itself, I can see this tech co-existing with artists in the future however not like this, this ain't it chief. From what I gather these AI "art" generators have been unethically trained using art from millions of artists without our consent, exploiting years of our hard work. We put in the effort and dedicate years if not our entire lives to our passion, only to be replicated by some bum typing words into a box. This can potentially make artists and art itself obsolete as these things kept being abused and used for selfish and malicious purposes, drowning actual artists even further into irrelevance and discouraging any new upcoming ones from delving into art because why bother when anyone can just press a button? You want art go buy some pencils or a cheap tablet and learn how to draw, or pay actual artists for their hard work.
