sooo will upload these individually too but the final lineup for my art station wild west challange submission www.artstation.com/contests/wi… ^_^if was crazy hectic and ate up all of april for me, but feels like it was worth it in the end, learned so much about working with base shapes, and much much more...they are still not perfect and have so much mroe i might tweak with them but for now i´m letting them sit for a bit! wild west asylum, german folktale/wendigo posession and lovely stuff!1.

the challange started on april 4th and ran until 30th, so we had 26 days, but i also work more than overtime at a game studio, so spend every waking hour devoted to getting them done^^

thank you so much! my personal challange was to try making a majority of female characters, but not making them feel victimized, of different ethnic origins without being disrespectful as well as drawing different body shapes/ages^_^

thank you! tried incorporating storytelling elements between them, like poppy, the girl with the cane has some torn pages in her pocket, and madame Ruby(in the wheelchair) has books, so the girls stolen a few pages from there, and the same flower the wendigo/murdered girl is carrying can be found on the preachers coat and the bear walking lawman..i had a plotline in mind for all of them but ran out of timeXD

At first I appreciated them for being unique and very well made... and then I saw the Wendigo at the end of the line. That takes the cake for the most epic one here. : D

Very, very interesting lore. For all of them. It's nice to see such attention to detail. I can't recall detail like that since... the Soulsborne series. It looks more connected to Bloodborne to me though (at least the early areas).

aaaahh i know right?! got so excited reading up on the wild west, and there are so many interesing laws/people/lives documented that could make for great characters but are sadly overlooked in favour of scruffy bearded cowboy gunslinger..

I grew up loving Westerns because my dad got my into them. I saw all kinds of Westerns, from Young Guns, River of No Return, True Grit, Tombstone, etc. and used to play with my dad's cowboys and Indians as a young girl. Such a fascinating time period!
I started played Red Dead Redemption last week, and it makes me want more Western video games. It was such a cool and brutal time period and if you took that, steampunk, and a little bit of fantasy, that could be your lineup, and a really badass video game I'd love to play.

That would be really awesome. Like, she could seem appealing because she's all mystical and wise, ending up helping you on a quest, but then ends up deceiving you and turns into a boss.

I know. So many possibilities... like when you first meet her, you don't see any of the dark stuff, but as you complete more and more missions for her, she becomes more and more like that until she eventually becomes an enemy!
