What can I say? I get the full view that this is the PAUL MCCARTNEY, the shading is absolutely MARVELOUS and the eyes resemble exactly the one's of Paul's. The lips are prefect and the shading is at wonderful accuracy. I can get a feel for the texture of the hair. You did a wonderful job capturing the motion of him directing his attention to a certain point. Wonderful job with the fullness of the neck and the even shape of Paul's face. Overall this is just an absolutely OUTSTANDING piece of artwork.

That's really cool. I especially like the facial features. I kind of feel the clothing needs a little bit more value, but it better than what I could do.
Also, I think it's Sir Paul McCartney. He was knighted.

Thanks for the comment. Yes Paul is knighted, but since this is a drawing of him crica 1967, I went with Mr. Paul McCartney. PLus, he prefers Mr to Sir. The clothing...I kinda liked the unfinished quality to it, but I may go back in and finish it as well. Ta!

The I can see how you'd like the unfinished quality, since it gives it a sketchy look, and it also contrasts with the detail of the hair and face. It still bugs me. But it's your picture, so leave it if you like it! That's what it's all about, anyway.
