i have always thought of pisces as a deep, comforting ocean of life and creative energy.

pisces does indeed represent the universal unconscious in modern astrology -- all the wisdom and potential in the universe that largely goes untapped.

pisces, and people with pisces in their astrological charts, seem to have a gift of tapping into that energy in some way.

i decided to represent pisces here as both part of that endless sea of being and the sea itself. forever meditating, forever dreaming, she is all things and the hope for the future for all things. she gives all those awake and listening the heart, soul and vision to make the world a better place.

this is the first in a series of zodiac pieces I am doing. i'm finding it incredibly meaningful to connect with the different zodiac archetypes and see what I come up with!
