A picture of the green-haired half-esper, half-human cutie from Final Fantasy VI. Opted for the human version of her, instead of the white esper morph she can do.Her clothing is based off the Amano picture in the FF VI players guide, and it doesn't look like she is wearing a cape in the game, but there is very little you can tell about her clothing from her sprite. The Amano pic has her in a little skirt with the cape, so I opted for that look.
No weapons or magical effects (except her floating/flying peacefully) in this pic, because of all the characters, I always got the impression Terra was the most peaceful at her core, so I tried to depict her in a more serene manner, in contrast to my earlier Celes pic where she is getting ready to fire something with a Bolt spell, and the General Leo pic where he is sort of mugging to the camera. (perhaps in a recruitment ad for the imperial army?

Sure, he's handsome and rich and a king, has a chainsaw, casts magic and has a castle that can go underground and helped save the world.....but.....er.....can he.......like.......uh....... hell, Edgar rules. (both figuratively and literally)
No one digs Sabin, though, I guess. lol

I'm playing thru FFVI on the SNES again these past few days, and Edgar is just a hard character to leave out of the group, especially when he gets his uber chainsaw and drill. Still searching for that all important 4th party member, to go with Celes, Edgar, Terra. Typically its Mog, Sabin, Cyan or Shadow, for those rare times when you actually have to physically hit something.

i usually go with Cyan. i find his sword techniques more useful.
i actually have ffvi for the PS so i dont have to go digging out
the SNES. but man, youre doing it old school status. way to go.

Yeah, I never got the PS version for whatever reason. I've been debating getting some of those to play the older FFs and the one that didn't get released in the States until it was on the PS, but haven't gotten around to that either. Lots of changing maps/rooms and random encounters sometimes sucks big time on a CD based game with loading times and all. Haven't ruled it out by any means, though.
Recent game has me using Celes, Terra, Mog and Gogo. But I'm at the point where I need to go get Locke out of the volcano, so I need to bring the others up to speed too.
I'm also doing a Cactroc (or Cactaur, as they later are called) pic for fun. Hopefully it'll turn out as I envision it. Hopefully that and Edgar will be done within the a day or two.
All things considered, it's nice that some people out there enjoy these pics, cuz I love doing them

Well, I didn't particularly want to cut off either her hand or her cape, so I kept the picture a bit wider than normal, I guess.
Maybe that's what they're referring too? *shrug*
Oh, well. Not gonna lose any sleep over it.
And, btw, I may do an Aerith or Tifa fanart because I remember thinking they were kinda cute back in the day, but I hold something close to -4,000,000,000,000% interest in drawing Cloud or Sephiroth, because I was not a major fan of those characters. So you're safe. lol. Maybe a Red, Yuffie or Barrett pic at some point too. lol.

The amano drawing also gives her blond hair, which i never understood, since she clearly has green hair in the game. I'm glad you opted to keep it green lol. Really nice rendition of her clothing, it kind of looks like a mix between the amano version and the game sprite to me.

Yeah, I wondered about the blonde hair in the drawing as well. Didn't know if it was supposed to be blonde or a really pale green color. And if in the game they couldn't do pale green so it became regular green. Who knows, I guess.
Anyways, hope you FF VI fans like these drawings because I enjoy doing them.
