On a side note I believe that this might actually be a caspian tern and not an arctic tern? Arctic terns have really long tail streamers and a more slender, completely red bill and they're quite a bit smaller

And thanks for the compliment! It probably has a lot to do with the awesome lens I was able to rent for the day and being able to get within 25 feet or so of them as they were looking for food.

Great shot! Love how the legs lay completely against its tail while the wings are fully stretched, and the air of nonchalance is on its face!
