Description I thought the 11th Doctor Funko needed an upgrade.

added length to the tweed
removed front pockets and buttons from tweed coat
removed elbow patches from tweed
added waistcoat
added pocket watch
removed sonic head
added cybernetics
and obviously repainted entire funko

** constructive criticism is ok, but please don't rip me apart for no reason. Seriously, no hate, please. Everyone knows, I'd imagine, how much I loved this character, I don't need to hear that I wasted my time sculpted a " horrible DW character" ( no really, i have had that comment more than once - please refrain from telling me that )

I think your resculpt is great! And whoever told you that you wasted your time really should just shut up. It amazes me that someone would say that about a character that you obviously love - how selfish of them to make it all about themselves and how they happen to not like him. (Not to mention, they're wrong. Mr. Clever's awesome.)

May I ask, what did you use to do your sculpting? I did a bit of a resculpt of the Eleven Pop figure to repaint him in his purple coat (you can see a pic of it in my gallery) and I used FIMO air-dry clay. It was my first time working with it (or any clay, really), and it's a bit fragile. I ended up putting a drop of glue under the edge of the clay area to give it a little more sturdiness. Thanks!

** Sorry ** I tried editing my comment to be more specific and it wouldn't let me. Try this again!

Update!

Ok, so I made this funko for me. So i basically just used whatever materials I had lying around the house. I wish I could recall what I used. But I have a tendency to make things by throwing together things I was going to trash. Like sometimes I will sit there and say " Well this big chunk of dried glue could be used for SOMETHING!"  1 of out 10 times I make something nice. HAHA
I have never tried Fimo as Im allergic to most clays. But I love your gallery!

and yes someone did say to me I was wasting my time, but then I noticed they had a Mr Clever figurine too so I think they must have been joking around? I will never get people, though lol

Man, the before image looks so bland and out of continuity in comparison to the new one.

You really did a good job proving how fans make better toys and models than actual toy makers. XD Bravo on the new look.

i agree 100% that most fan art out there is better. I don't get it. you'd think that these places would hire fans.

No... that would actually help the company grow and expand. XD Such a suggestion.
