HE TOOK SECOND!!!!! I am so proud of this little boy!

YES THIS IS PUDDLES FIRST OUTING!, and the first time you guys have seen him since he was a baby! I figured what show was better than TackRack 's Young Horse Autumn Event (Which if you have yet to enter you should do!)

Also this was streamed, and i want to thank everyone who put up with my ranting over dapples, leaves and my endless fiddling to make it not look like a sunrise!

Puddle shook his head, ears flapping and eyes crossing as he sprayed mucus all over Harley's silk blouse. Harley rolled her eyes as she tried to survey the damage the young colt had caused. It was almost as if he knew it was almost their turn. Now content, Puddle returned to playing with his bit and trying to avoid any leave landing on his rump.

"Buddy, all you have to do is make it through the next hour, so stand up and stop looking like an idiot." She tapped his chest and with happy toss of his head he squared up and focused his attention on a young filly trotting past him. "and there will be none of that either young man!"

Even though he was 2 she still though of him as a big baby, perhaps it was the fact she remembered his mother at this age, perhaps it was that his constant curiosity and friendly nature made it easy to talk and play with him. Whichever, it meant that he got spoiled rotten and the big bugger was growing into the friendliest youngster she had ever worked with.

It was hard knowing that his mother only had a few years left of competition. Harley had never found a horse that had clicked as well as the big grey mare,had done since the first time they had trained together. As she neared her retirement Harley had been questioning her mounts at the stud. Sure she had a great selection of some amazingly bred and talented individuals, yet she had the growing feeling that she would miss that spark of partnership that made their bond so special.

As if knowing that her thoughts had turned too serious the colt turned his attention to getting those fun noises out of his companion. His specialty when it came to giving and getting attention where his kisses, which he happily demonstrated by lipping the woman's ear and hair, and causing her to squirm away as slobber trickled down her neck. Happily snorting to himself he shifted out of position to prance happily around her as she tried to get him to settle again.

She could picture how she looked and was thankful that it was only the horses that were being judged in this class. She heard their number announced and with a sigh gave up on looking nice, taking a deep breath she felt a whiskery muzzle rest on her shoulder and a big sigh as Puddle settled finally. Turning to give the colt a final touch up she looked into his big brown eyes and with a small smile at his ability to be adorable no matter how naughty he was she moved him forward.

"If only i was able to afford you, we could have far too much fun together!"
