Description as a rule we had never wanted a racehorse at our stud, they cost too much and have too many risks and hassels of owning and training such a hotblooded horse. so we have surprised ourselves..

She was on holiday visiting some relations and friends in Ireland, when they went one morning to the local Gallops to see what the local runners were like.

She was sitting down on the hill watching as the horses passed. some were very fast, others slow. there was one huge Black that thundered past fighting its jockey everystep of the way.

Just when she thought the last of the horses in the string had past her she heard the thudding of hoves.. and out of the mist galloped a small chestnut. Not huge in stature he was only around 15 hands, his running mates and jockey made him seem even smaller, he however had pressence.

galloping as fast as the other he didn't even seem to be trying. Just cruising behind everyone he looked like he could keep going forever. as he passed she thought about him.. what a horse..he needed some work but who knows if his heart wasn't in racing KhanCohban was looking for some new blood.

The thunder grew and the horses emerged from the mist.. well one horse. It was the chestnut, somehow he had passed everyone and was going strong, still well on the bit he powered past long gone before the black charged in behind.

Sue turned and Gave a nudge.

'Thats the Boal's young stallion. hes not much to look at but he sure has that irish magic.'

Well KhanCohban's owner came back from her holiday with a horse box in tow.. shocked it turned out she had purchased him for a small amount really and had him flown over a few months ago and he had since been in quarentine.

when we unloaded him he was thin and dusty, looking more like an old riding school horse that this shining star.. however with a good grooming and a belly full of mash he has perked up and is now resting quietly in our stable.

Meet the new Man.
